Coordinating the release
Here is the most common way to include butterflies at the Wedding. Please
feel free to call us to discuss your brides specific needs.
Church Weddings:
Hand them out before the bride and groom are ready to leave the church to
the reception. Instruct everyone to open the packets (at the same time) as
the bride and groom walk outside or as they begin to enter the limo as they
leave the church
Outdoor Weddings:
Hand them out just before the wedding ceremony, so they can be released when
the bride and groom kiss. Butterflies also make great guest for other
special events. Release butterflies at grand openings, birthday parties,
company picnics and product releases -just to name a few.
Why butterflies make sense at churches and reception
sites
Butterflies are the best alternative for bridal send offs. Most churches
have restricted the use of rice and other objects to be thrown at the bride
and groom because of the unnecessary clean up and potential accidents that
can occur.
Our butterflies are simply released and fly off to nectar in the surrounding
garden and trees. Don’t worry if no vegetation is nearby, a Monarch
butterfly can fly over 50 miles a day. Magical Beginnings is dedicated to
the conservation of butterflies and their habitat and we encourage our
customers to plant the appropriate host plants in their garden. We do not
recommend butterfly releases indoors or at night.
